Looking at recent Broadway searches, Beauty and the Beast is the current hot search. It’s hard to keep a “classic” down (does a few years really qualify it as a classic?). Anyone spot the next big play? Or seen some undiscovered talent? Let us know the scoop in the forums.

NYC, pat yourself on the back. Contrary to popular belief you are nice people. Hey, I knew it all along from the times I’ve been there. Check out the article.
Also, I found this audio interview of John Lloyd Young from the “Jersey Boys” musical. Click here.

Broadway! We haven’t been up that long yet, but Broadway has been outpacing the other categories, although museums and hotels may take over. Broadway might be riding out the Tony Awards wave.
Everyone is definitely eyeing discount tickets. I have personally bought some same-day sale tickets at the TKTS booth in Times Square. You can line up for day of shows that still have availability, but it will be difficult to get tickets for good shows since those will likely be sold out. If you’re from out of town and want a good show, I would say pay for the show. You can get some tickets here: Buy premium tickets for every Broadway show Or
.
Or you can try some other venues as suggested in this article: Click to view article.
Jersey Boys is another search favorite which is a newer Broadway show based on the story of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. Their hits include “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Rag Doll”, “Walk Like a Man”, “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)”, and “Sherry”. Yes, good stuff does come out of New Jersey.
Watch out Jersey Boys cause Wicked and Beauty and the Beast are close behind. But what do you guys think? Which is the best musical in your book. Join our forum and tell us the truth….who really is #1?
