Every summer, Lincoln Center has the Midsummer Night Swing series in which a whole lot of live bands play Tango, Swing, Salsa, etc. music with dance lessons. For the seasoned dancers, you can still hear and dance to the music outside of the dance area for free or just observe other dancers if you have two left feet. Try the lessons though if you can!

This Wendesday (July 21, 2009), Big Bad Voodoo Daddies is playing. You may remember them from the movie swingers or back in the late 90s when swing was much more the rage. For a complete schedule of Midsummer Night Swing events, see here: http://bit.ly/13nWvW.
